I note that the given locations are both suggested as being in France, with one being in May 1940.

Given that Jochen has provided a timeline of 1943/44 in post #8, do you think that this airframe was in a sufficiently recoverable condition for it to be repaired to flying condition once again? I can't really decide - it looks quite damaged, but sometimes I think not so damaged that it couldn't be repaired. Is there anything in these images or in documentation, that would suggest a later timeline in keeping with the details of Jochen's post?
