I've read the LEMB article, and I also have a listing noting S7+C197 as a Ju52 from KFS Lechfeld, this information accredited to Carlsen & Meyer, Vol.2, p.369. This is a publication I do not possess so I can say nothing further about it.

I also have a copy of the J&P publication, which seems a little confusing to me; on p.27, the Zifferkennung list provides that S7+C was also noted on a Do11 from FlWS Lechfeld, but on p.29, the code is attributed to Fliegerwaffenlehrgang Oldenburg, GKS Lechfeld and FFS (C) Landau.

One thing appears to be certain, namely that all of these suggested units are pre-war, therefore I have moved this thread into the 'Pre-war Schulen' section.

Paul, regarding the source Carlsen & Meyer, Vol.2, p.369, it has a photo of Ju52 S7+C197 port side, captioned as belonging to Gr.KFS Lechfeld in July 1939.(not S7+C136 as per your post).
